I joined Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College on 1st May, 2017 after my retirement as Professor of Surgery, Allama iqbal Medical College / Jinnah Hospital Lahore. Before that, I was Head of Department of Surgery PGMI/AMC/LGH, Lahore. I served KEMU/ Mayo Hospital Lahore for 27 years in different positions starting from House Officer till Professor of Surgery. I also worked as Associate Professor Surgery SIMS, Lahore for two years.
I am a Kemcolian of 1981 batch. I did ECFMG Certification (FMGEM), Fellowship from CPSP, Karachi and Certificate in Medical Education (CMT) from UHS, Lahore. Currently I hold the post of Senior Vice President PETSA ( Pakistan Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons Association ) and I am dedicated the job of teaching surgery to MBBS students Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College, Lahore.

I have done my graduation from Hamdard College of Medicine & Dentistry, Karachi in 2004. After completion of my house job, I did my postgraduate training from Shaikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore and passed my fellowship examination in 2011 in General Surgery. After my fellowship I have worked as Senior Registrar in Jinnah Hospital Lahore for about one year and later on as Senior Registrar in a tertiary care hospital, Saudi Arabia for about four years. I have joined Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College, Lahore on 19th December 2017 and since then working with this institution as Assistant Professor of General Surgery.
