Introduction

College of Nursing AMDC was established in 2012. It was inspected and granted permission to train Licensure Practical Nursing (LPN) with effect from academic session 2012-2014 by Pakistan Nursing Council(PNC). Now by the grace of Almighty Allah, PNC also granted permission to start Bachelor of science in Nursing(BSN) with effect from academic session 2018-2021. We believe that nurses are main chunk and crucial part of health care system. Our objective is to educate nurses on basis of Bio Psycho Social Model for the society. 

Our aim is to produce competent nurses enabling them to provide competent and holistic nursing care in variety of health care setting. We strive out best to provide conductive environment for learning in College of Nursing AMDC. 

Institute has its affiliation with University of Health Sciences and Nursing Examination Board (NEB) Punjab. It also recognized with Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).

Generic BSN is a 4 yr program provides a foundation for graduate education in nursing and serves as a stimulus for continuing professional development. The purpose of the baccalaureate program is to prepare a professional nurse whose practice is based upon nursing science, related sciences and the arts in order to promote, restore, and maintain the health of human beings. This program is intended to foster critical thinking, knowledge-based actions, and personal as well as professional development among the nurses.

CNA or LPN Program is a 2year professional education program leading to practice as a Registered Nurse. Upon completion of this program they are prepared to be a safe clinical nurse, who will be able to provide comprehensive care at all levels with in hospitals and community settings.

Goals

The foremost goals of CON, AMDC are to:

1: Add well- qualified nurse professionals to the critically limited human resource pool of the Pakistan.

2: Train professional nurses, and to equip them in depth knowledge of practical, theoretical, & effective communication skills for the provision of quality health care to patients.

3: Provide knowledge of nursing and the ability to apply this knowledge to address public health problems of resource constrained developing countries.
