Prof Kamran Butt is a Consultant Sports Medicine orthopaedic surgeon and Director trauma and emergency,currently practising in Lahore Pakistan . He was UK and Ireland fellowship trained and worked there for over 17 years. Prof Kamran pioneered sports medicine arthroscopy surgery in Pakistan and specialises in both upper and lower limb sports surgery, having helped the careers of many professional athletes in a variety of sports in Pakistan. He is a Professor and Director of trauma services at Akhter Saeed medical college Lahore.

He is ATLS , ACLS and BLS trained and instructor. He has special interest in trauma and emergency care . Prof Kamran Butt is also a member of AANA, ESSKA, BASEM and an Executive member of the Pakistan Arthroscopy forum.

He served Pakistan Football Federation Doctor and member medical advisor committee of Pakistan cricket board.
