Dr. Sadia Minhas

Associate Professor & Head of Department Oral Pathology
Dr. Sadia Minhas, Oral Pathologist and well-acclaimed administrator doing a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Virology from The University of Lahore, Lahore. She attained M-Phil from the University of Health Sciences in Oral Pathology in 2015. She passed her Bachelor in Dentistry with a distinction from Khyber College of Dentistry, Peshawar. She has also medical education certification on her credit from the University of Health Sciences, Lahore. She has been working in Akhtar Saeed Medical and Dental College since 2015. Before she was appointed as associate professor, Dr. Sadia Minhas served as Assistant Professor for 5 years. She has also given her services as a Vice Principal of Akhter Saeed Medical and Dental College (Dental section) for the last two years. She has been awarded multiple awards in recognition of her marvelous services for education and research. In 2015 and 2020.
She was awarded travel grants for her research work presented at the international forum of the International Association of Oral Pathology (IAOP) and Health Research Colloquium. She has been also awarded with multiple awards at Akhtar Saeed Medical and Dental College (Dental Section), Lahore in 2019 and 2020. She has published over 30 research papers, most of them in international journals. She has also written two books “Practical Manual of Oral Pathology” and “Differential Diagnosis and Key Features of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology” in collaboration with Paramount Publishers.
Dr. Sadia Minhas current scientific and clinical interests include basic and applied research by applying modern molecular-based techniques. She is also actively involved in organizing multiple national and international workshops and symposiums.

Dr. Sadaf Waris is working as an Assistant Professor of Pathology Department at Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College Lahore.

Dr. Aneequa Sajjad
Assistant Professor
She is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Oral Pathology Department of Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College, Lahore. She did her graduation from Sharif Medical & Dental College Lahore and House job from Nishter Institute of Dentistry Multan. She has got 2 distinctions in the subject of Biochemistry and Community Dentistry during academic years. Then she got admission in M.Phil Oral Pathology Programme at Post Graduate Medical Institute Lahore. She has joined Akhtar Saeed Medical Dental College as Demonstrator in Oral Pathology Department in November, 2016. After that she got promoted as Senior Demonstrator in December, 2017 And Assistant Professor in 31st October, 2019 based on her performance and dedication towards her profession.
She has also been the part of many projects of Government and different NGOs as she was also interested in field of public health too. She is interested in doing research work and list of publications is also attached. She has also contributed in her own field by writing 2 books and is one of the co-authors in writing the Practical manual of Oral Pathology published by Paramount as well as Differential Diagnosis of Oral Pathology.
